Headband vs Neckband

The images in this listing show the “Neckband” version of the Noise-Comm 200. Neckband headsets can be easier to wear under a helmet or other headwear not typically able to be worn with a traditional “Headband” style headset. A neckband headset has a thicker structural band that goes around the back of your head, as well as a thinner fabric band that goes over the top to help keep it from falling.

The “Headband” version MAY also be able to be worn under a helmet… but that will often require some modification/adjustment of helmet padding.

Savox vs Peltor vs Sordin vs Opscore

The Savox Noise-COMM 200 offers an INCREDIBLE value compared to options made by Peltor, Sordin, or Opscore. For almost half the cost, you get all of the features you want, and none of the ones that just inflate the complexity and cost.

For roughly the same money you might spend on a used set of Peltor Comtac 3’s (depending on market availability) you can have a BRAND NEW set of Savox Noise-COMM 200s. And if any problem comes up with those used Peltors, you never know if you will be able to get any support or warranty service.

On the other hand, if an issue arises with your NoiseCOMMs Bulletn and Savox will make sure you are taken care of.

If you already own a headset from one of those other manufacturers, have you considered what might happen if that equipment ever fails? Being that it uses the same plug and microphone, the Noise-COMM 200 makes an excellent option as a “backup” or “loaner” set that works with all of your current radio connectors.
